The Buena Library BLAST Program

The Buena Library After School Tutoring program (BLAST) provides tutoring and positive reinforcement for grade-schoolers. It has proven to be so valuable that it has now become a year-round program, with a separate program for middle-school students.

Virginia Obert, Friends of Buena Library President, and Phillip Abri, English As A Second Language Instructor, celebrate program funding from the Washington Apple Education Foundation Grant.

Early Learning Station

Children are enjoying use of the Early Learning Station. Colorful and entertaining interactive lessons on the computer-based tutorial resource develop primary grade skills.
